Police consists of 113.426 officers and members. This membership show the diversity of tasks carried out by the police, of the general duty of doing traditional tasks of policing and always side by side with the people, until the General Operations Force running tasks 'non-regulatory' such as prevention of illegal immigrants and the fight against the rise of terrorist communists once. In carrying out the mandate and responsibilities entrusted with the responsibility of the people, the police are assisted by a support group made up of Additional Police, Police Volunteers, Auxiliary Police, Police Cadets and civil servants. This group plays an important role in determining the safety and welfare of the country.
